The J-School officially welcomed a new group of Pakistani journalists to campus on October 19. The journalists participate in the third batch of a year-long exchange program, which premiered in 2014 and is organized by the J-School and the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan.

The third batch journalists include: Umar Hayat, Waqas Ahmad Bangas, Hassan Arshad, and Zahoor Ahmed. They are from Pakistan TV, Associated Press of Pakistan,Pakistan Today,Daily Times,Independent News Pakistan.

In attendance were Deputy Dean of J-School Yang Baojun, section chief of the RUC  international office Zhang Damiao, and Assistant to the Dean Zhong Xin, who presided over the welcome ceremony.

Also attending were faculty members Tabe Bergman, Li Biao, Wang Yigao, Liu Hongyu, Sun Weijie.
