The School of Journalism and Communication hosted an ICA post-conference in Guoxue Hall on June 14.

The conference on campus directly followed the world-leading annual conference held by the International Communication Association (ICA) in Fukuoka, Japan.

The theme of the conference was the relationships between power and communication theories. The conference attracted many experts from universities in the United States, Britain, Germany and China.

Professor Guo Qingguang, Executive Dean of the School of Journalism and Communication, delivered the opening address.

The plenary took place in the morning. Five discussion forums were held in the afternoon.
