Students and faculty members of the J-School discussed the opportunities and challenges of educating media professionals and scholars with a delegation from Japan’s Kansai University on the RUC campus on May 28.
Students and professors of RUC’s Japanese Department also participated in the Media and Communication Education Seminarheld in the Ming De Building. The seminar was chaired by Professor GuoQingguang, Executive Dean of the School of Journalism and Communication. Cai Wen, Secretary of the J-School’s Party Committee,gave a speech.
Speeches were also given by Associate Professor Liu Xueyan, Professor Hiroshi Ogawa, Associate Professor Hiroshi Ogasawara, Professor Kuroda Yong, Assistant Professor MizoguchiYouer, Professor Mariko Murata and Associate Professor Yukiko Mori, all of Kansai University.
In addition, RUC’s Associate Professor Yin Qiangand Professors Li Mingjing and Xue Yuan gave speeches. Zhao Yunze, Associate Professor and Assistant to the Dean, together with a number of doctoral students organized and participated in the seminar.
