Gurianov, Director of Zhagun News Agency from Uzbekistan, accompanied with his seven colleagues and journalist delegations from Uzbekistan visited the School of Journalism and Communication, Renmin University of China and had a warm communication with teachers and students on November 23rd, 2018.

Li Hang and Guo Luping, the Deputy Directors of the Department of Information of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Dai Yanli, representative from the embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Uzbekistan met with the delegation.

Deputy Dean of J-School, Professor Zhang Huifeng, expressed a warm welcome to the delegation from Uzbekistan and briefly introduced the School on its history, faculties and departments. Director of International Affairs, Professor Zhong Xin, introduced the School’s international exchange programs. Professor Zhao Yonghua, School Dean Assistant Zhang Di, School Foreign Affairs Secretaries Zhao Jin attended the talks.

Professor Zhang Huifeng said that the school attaches great importance to the exchange activities between the school and the countries and regions along the Belt and Road. The Uzbekistan delegations expressed their pleasure and signed a various of memorandums for further cooperation with the the School of Journalism and Communication of RUC. The two sides both agrees to conduct more training courses and to create more mutual visits between teachers and students on future cooperation.
