RUC opened its 10th Sports Culture Festival and the 2021 Freshmen Track and Field Meet on Oct. 21 where the SJC athletes competed in fourteen events and won third in the final results tally.

In the spirit of "Friendship comes first while competition goes second", the SJCers made great achievements with their outstanding sports skills.

SJCer Wang Ying got first in the women's 800m race while Gao Huakai won two gold medals in both men's 100m and 200m races. Mo Qiaofei, Zhao Weijia, Li Chunqiang, and Wang Yitian also stood out in personal track events.

Field events witnessed SJCers' prominent plays as well. Liu Xiangyan won the first prize in men's shot put as Tang Zehua and Liao Yueyue also did well.

As for relay races, SJCers came third place in women's 4×400m, fifth in women's 4×100m, fifth in men's 4×400m, and sixth in men's 4×100m with their tacit collaboration.

SJC turned out to be the 3rd in women's final results tally and 4th in men's, adding up to 3rd in the overall ranking.
