The China Africa Press Center (CAPC) held the closing ceremony of its 2015 project on November 27, 2015. The Information Department of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs spoke highly of the contribution made by the School of Journalism and Communication.

From March to June the School of Journalism and Communication organized a series of 20 lectures for 10 African journalists.

Twelve professors from 10 schools in RUC, as well as staff from news agency Xinhua, state broadcaster CCTV, newspaper China Daily and other media outlets, provided the journalists with information about China’s politics, economy, society, and other topics.

The CAPC program will continue in 2016 and RUC will again participate.
