Renmin University of China (RUC) has selected four books by professors in the School of Journalism and Communication for promotion overseas.

The four books were included in RUC’s overseas promotion project of 2015 on November 6. The School of Journalism and Communication has set up a strategy for advancing its international impact.

School of Journalism and Communication celebrates 60th anniversary

The School of Journalism and Communication celebrated its 60th anniversary on October 25, 2015. Thousands of people, including alumni and professors from other universities, joined the celebration ceremony.

Dean Zhao Qizheng made three promises about the school’s future. First, to keep up with the times. Second, to take the responsibility for promoting China to the world by training talented journalists, and third, to continue innovation in journalism education and research.

As a part of the celebration the School’s five departments organized a series of five lectures on various topics.
